Sun dried Tomato and Mushroom Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mushrooms
½ cup chopped onions
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup chopped sun dried tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Sauté mushrooms and onions in 1 tablespoon
butter until onions are translucent. Set
aside.
2. Heat the
cream and remaining butter in a saucepan over medium heat until almost boiling,
but do not boil. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and stir until melted.
Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes and mushroom mixture, season with salt and
pepper. Remove from heat and serve over pasta.
Yum, that sounds good. I love all those ingredients but I don't know how it would go over with my kids.
