Meaning-full Monday!

Hello everyone and a happy Monday to you!

Most people don't like Monday's.  I am not one of these people.  The first reason is because of my husband's job.  He's a musician, teacher, and he works at two local churches.  So, his weekends are totally full of lessons, practice and church.  We MIGHT get Sunday afternoon with him, but sometimes that's taken up too.  On Monday, the kids go back to school and I get him all to myself!  :-)  Now, don't take that the wrong way, he's usually working out in his building creating his latest masterpieces...Agape Guitars.

Secondly, I am a recovering slob...Monday means a chance to accomplished something.  I get to clean up the result of the two hurricanes (Nick and Wes) that were home all weekend.  It doesn't take me long to pick up the living room that is now full of toys and feel like I am superwoman!  Gives me the motivation to do the dishes!  (Which I LOATHE!)  Then it's on to vacuuming and laundry!  Wow!  Look at all I have achieved!

Monday is also a start to a whirlwind week, but I wouldn't have it any other way! God has given me this week to be active in my life.  Do something for His glory.  I choose to care for my family and raise my kids.  There is an abundance of meaning in my Mondays.

A case of the traveling husband...

Rich is out of town. If that's not bad enough, my children decided to be crazy. But I guess that's life. At least, it's my life and I couldn't be happier with it. :-)

I have the world's best husband and the greatest kids! I am so completely blessed. I certainly don't deserve this, but I guess that's what grace is all about, huh? God has blessed me greatly. I have a wonderful family and awesome friends.

My life is not without problems though. God trusts me enough to give them to me...that I may call on Him. I can do NOTHING without my God...I would BE nothing without my God. I think that God gives me some of these problems so that I will remember that I need Him. God is growing me as a Christian. Thank you, God, for this opportunity to be part of your garden.

Ok, Here we go.

I am going to make a considerable effort to keep up this blog. I have wanted to for some time, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Anyway, I am no longer working, so I should (theoretically, anyway) have more time to do this. Not too much has changed since my initial post, we haven't had any additions to the family or anything, so that's all relevant. We do daily deal with Wesley's autism and Nick's all-boyishness. :-) Makes for never a dull moment in our home. I wouldn't change my family for the world though. They are what makes me happy. Making them happy is what I do. I shall start from the beginning tomorrow and dedicate a post to each member of the family. Thanks for looking!

Good morning everyone. I am going to take this time to introduce me and my family. My name is Misty, I am married to my best friend, Rich. We have been married for 9 1/2 years. Seems both like forever and no time at all. We have had three beautiful boys together. Christian Wesley was born in March of 1999 and went home to be with God after only 5 days with us. Then in November of 2000, Nicholas Isaiah showed up. Then after 4 years of trying, our miracle baby, Wesley Connor, was born in January of 2006. I will post about each of the children separately at another time. My family is my life. I live for them. I hope you will enjoy reading about them and our lives.
